My friend Gary Brugh asked me to help Good News Partners create a video about their affordable housing ministry. Good News Partners is a community organization seeking the joy of God’s justice and working to empower the North of Howard community in Chicago and people of faith everywhere. It is the mission of Good News Partners to end homelessness and hopelessness with every person God brings to us and to build bridges of reconciliation and justice among all people.

    Nice piece. Our church has been involved with Good News for many years. Bud Ogle, who I think is still involved, spoke at our church a few months ago. Many years ago I think it was called Good News North of Howard and the ministry was very much involved in helping people fix up their homes so they did not get pushed out due to gentrification. I know they do very good work. You sure have wonderful opportunities to see the people of God doing God’s work.
