Here is an interview I did for Intersections International with Ali Tariq, a consultant with the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue at International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Ali discusses his 2014 visit to the US and his perceptions of Americans prior to and after his first visit. Reflecting on his experiences and interactions with Americans, he discovers the commonality that exists between people of the US and Pakistan and concludes that the US/Pakistan Interreligious Consortium’s, (UPIC) work is helping to dispel the many stereotypes and misconceptions that exist between our countries and our peoples.
