The First United Methodist Church, Chicago Temple is the oldest church in Chicago. From the cities earliest, pioneer days, through the Great Chicago fire, the 1893 World’s Fair, Prohibition, World War’s 1 and 2, Civil Rights and today’s issues related to gun violence, immigration and social justice, the Chicago Temple remains faithful, centrally located and mission focused. Join us as we tell a story of steadfast faith and enduring passion for service in our city.
