The Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago has asked me to participate in their 2009 Leadership Conference as a member of a panel discussion on faith in the movies.
Promotional materials for the event provide the following details…
Movies can open our minds and our hearts to new understandings and enable us to make connections to cultures and patterns of thinking that are outside our own personal experiences. At LSTC’s 2009 Leadership Conference, excerpts from several films will be viewed, explored and discussed to provide a deeper understanding of film in the development and sharing of narratives.
