On the banks of the Illinois River in Marseilles, Illinois, visitors pay their respects at the Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall. The granite monument commemorates soldiers who died in the recent conflicts. The wall is 50 feet long and 6 feet high. Inscribed are the names of those killed in action.
