Christian pilgrims from around the world join local Palestinian Christians as they gather on the Mount of Olives overlooking the Old City waving palm and olive branches and processing along the traditional route taken by Jesus of Nazareth on his triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

This year (2014) both the Western and Eastern Christian calendars coincide making the crowds especially large and robust. Fun was had by all. Hosanna!
