Pastor Ron Glusenkamp at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado asked me to create this short introduction to the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Bethany is a large congregation and baptizes many children and a few adults each year. This resource introduces families to the theology behind a Lutheran understanding of baptism, their role as parents and their role as members of the larger faith community.
