This is the Rev. Lowell G. Almen’s report to the ELCA Churchwide Assembly. We recorded this video at Augustus Lutheran Church in Trappe, Pennsylvania.
Augustus Lutheran Church is the oldest unchanged Lutheran Church building in continuous use in the United States. The first pastor was Henry Melchior Muhlenberg.
Lowell wrote the script (it is his report). I served as producer/director and ran the camera. Jim Parks did the editing.
