50 years ago, civil rights activists marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama and into history. In this addition of Sanctuary, we join with the Chicago Sunday Evening Club and Chicago Theological Seminary to present interviews and highlights from “Selma at 50: Still Marching” tracing a thread through the legacy of civil rights activism to emerging contemporary activist movements focused on issues at the intersection of public theology, grassroots organizing, and serious scholarship.
